An Invitation to Hope – Join Us on a Jubilee Journey

On December 24, Pope Francis opened the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica, officially commencing a Jubilee Year of Hope. Throughout this Jubilee Year, USCMA is embarking on a mission journey to cultivate, reinvigorate, and witness hope:

July 23-24. Faith leaders, missionaries, and advocates will gather outside Milwaukee for a momentous two-day Summit on Mission and Evangelization.

March-June. Using the words of Pope Francis as our guide, the Secretary General of the Pontifical Missionary Union will lead us on a Virtual Jubilee Journey of prayer, dialogue, and discernment.

October 2-11. We will journey on pilgrimage to Italy to represent the US Church at the official Jubilee of the Missions celebration.

You can find more information on each of these opportunities throughout this issue of ENCOUNTER. We invite you to join us as we seek to learn, grow, and mobilize as missionaries of hope for a world in need.

Pilgrimage Update: Our rescheduled informational meeting for the Jubilee Pilgrimage will take place on Tuesday, February 25th at 2pm ET / 1pm CT / 11am PT via Zoom. (link to join)
