International Aid Freezes – Thank You for Acting

While ongoing administrative freezes and congressional funding cuts have had devastating consequences for programs promoting and preserving human dignity around the globe, Catholic Relief Services (CRS) reports that, as a result of your steadfast advocacy, Congress preserved $400 million for global health initiatives in the recent recessions vote. In addition, 10 life-saving CRS programs were saved from funding cancelations. 

While the impact of overall losses of funding will be felt for years to come, our collective efforts are helping to save and improve lives today.
