Come see for yourself what the reality is at the US/Mexico border. You’ve probably heard or read many stories about what is happening there, but this is your chance to see and learn for yourself. We will stay in El Paso, Texas, with a one-day visit to Juarez, Mexico. You’ll have an opportunity to engage first-hand with migrants who are seeking refuge in the U.S., sharing meals with them and listening to their stories. You will also have an opportunity to learn from those who are working with and advocating for the migrants, as well as listen to a presentation from the Border Patrol. Our day trip to Juarez will give you a chance to see what life is like on the other side and to visit programs that serve the people of that city. Finally, with our daily group prayer and reflections, you will have an opportunity to filter what you are experiencing through the lens of the gospel and Catholic teaching.
