    • 03.11.2021 Webinar on Social Analysis| This webinar will be at 2 pm ET, Matt Dulka, from Maryknoll, will lead this 90 minutewebinar on basics of social analysis – the see, judge, act process – and consider its implications for mission. Social analysis is the process USCMA is using for its 2021 Conference on Mission and Migration. REGISTRATION is required.

    • 03.19.2021 St. Joseph and Mission | St. Joseph and Mission is an hour of prayer, a reflection, a meditation, a conversation on St. Joseph and Mission on his Feast Day. It begins at 12:00 pm ET. Registration is required.

    • 03.25.2021 Accompaniment and Solidarity| This webinar will be at 2pm Et. 2021 World Mission Sunday Message. Gather with other missionaries to support each other through Lent. There will be a brief presentation on Pope Francis’s Message for World Mission Sunday 2021. REGISTRATION is required.

  • January 2021 Webinars

    01.14.2021 Haitian Mission – The story of Saint Margaret Mary Parish in Orlando, FL and how it sustains a mission in Haiti using the principles of integral human development. This webinar begins at 2:00 pm EST. The webinar is free but REGISTRATION is required.  

     

    01.18.2021 Racism and the Catholic Church – A review of Father Bryan Massingale’s book. This meeting, on Martin Luther King Day, begins at 2:00 pm EST. It is free but REGISTRATION is required.  

     

    01.28.2021 Accompaniment and Solidarity – A gathering of USCMA members to update each other on how they are navigating the pandemic, what they are seeing, the fruit of their contemplation, and the plans they are making for the future. The gathering – on the Feast of Saint Thomas Aquinas – begins at 2:00 pm EST. It is free but REGISTRATION is required.  

  • December 2020 Webinar

    Fratelli Tutti and the Mission of Social Friendship| On Dec. 3rd, 10th and 17th. A four part study session on Pope Francis’s newest Encyclical. The series meets on Thursdays at 1 pm ET. REGISTER.

  • November 2020 Webinars

    Integration–A New Video Resource| November 11, 2020, this video resource is from the third wave of mission. This introductory webinar will introduce the resource, how it can be used, and who can support you. The webinar is at 2 pm ET.

    Catholic & Citizen–A post 2020 Election Dialogue| November 12th, 2020. An open meeting to explore what we saw, how we understand it and discern next steps. The meeting is at 1 pm ET.

    Fratelli Tutti and the Mission of Social Friendship| On Nov. 19th, 26th, Dec. 3rd and 10th. A four part study session on Pope Francis’s newest Encyclical. The series will meet for consecutive Thursdays at 1 pm ET.

  • October 2020 Webinars 

    Wednesdays for the month of October at 7pm ET- Missio. This a 30 minutes youtube series streamed every wednesday for the month of october. They will be discussing different topics related to "How mission can help US navigate today's challenges. Register here.

    October 7, 2020 at 2pm ET- Developmental of Intercultural Sensitivity webinar. Sr Mary McGlone CSJ on the developmental stages people go through as they become more aware and sensitive to the needs of people from other cultures. Sr Mary will be defining the Theory – A measure of how we have assimilated multi-cultural experience, not a measure of ethical behavior.  It also requires an understanding of Culture. Sr Mary will be using a growing understanding of MY culture as one of many examples during this webinar. She will be elaborating on The Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity.   Register here.

    October 9, 2020 at 2 pm ET – Mission Alive: Writing the Story of Mission Today. A Webinar for Missionaries who are struggling to write a new chapter to their mission story during the Covid-19 pandemic. Panelists include Fr. Chris Saenz, Leanne Bergford, and Kelli Nelson, all members of USCMA.  Register here.

    October 23, 2020 at 2 pm ET. Mission Alive Writing the Story of Mission Today – Part II. A follow-up session for the webinar where missionaries can accompany each other through the process of writing and sharing their new stories of mission.  Register here.
