Sr. Mary is a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet, a historical theologian currently writing the history of the Sisters of St. Joseph in the United States. She earned a doctorate in theology from St. Louis University in 1991 and has lived in various areas of the southwest and Midwest in the United States and in Peru. Her ministry experience includes teaching, primarily in higher education, pastoral ministry, childcare, and professional writing. She is a qualified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory. She is currently on her Congregational Leadership Team, a part of Catholic Theological Society of America and U.S. Catholic Mission Association. Current areas of research are History of Women Religious, Missiology, and Eucharistic and Trinitarian Theology.
