As you know, Pope Francis has declared 2021 as the “Year of Saint Joseph.”
On March 19th we hosted a gathering to meditate on the insights Pope Francis has offered on Saint Joseph in his Apostolic Letter, Patris Corde (A Father’s Heart), and the missions of Saint Joseph.
Please use this opportunity to reach out to those on the periphery of the mission community – the faithful in parishes who engage in mission in very quiet ways – to awaken us to their presence and encourage their response to the call of mission.
May the Lord bless us, through the intercession of Saint Joseph, in our efforts to reinvigorate the missionary impulse in all of us, baptized and sent to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to every person on earth, our common home.
The Josephites produced many resources to help celebrate the year of St. Joseph. Incuding prayer cards, books and other recources that can be found on their website To learn more about the Year of Saint Joseph, visit the Josephite website.
