Go Forth… Podcast Reaches 2,000 Listens!

Since launching just before Pentecost Sunday in May of 2023, the weekly Go Forth… podcast has featured over 30 missionaries from throughout the United States who live out their baptismal call in ministries down the street and around the world. Guided by the show’s host, Dr. Ben OuYang, guests share their personal experience and call to serve, witness about their mission, and reflect on the Sunday readings.

Along with companion commentaries on the weekly scriptures, the Go Forth… podcast seeks to remind all Christians that “wherever you are and whatever you do, God has a mission just for you.” The missionary witnesses who are guests on the show range from priests and sisters stationed in other countries to everyday parishioners. 

The three episodes below highlight the variety of guests and the inspirational power of conversations about sharing our faith, a challenge for many Catholics. They demonstrate the transformative power of sharing God’s love when His people follow the directive in the dismissal from Mass and truly “Go forth…” in peace, to share the good news, and glorify the Lord by their lives.
