One hundred years later, an International Conference, “100 years since the ‘Concilium Sinense’: between history and the present” gathered May 21, 2024 at Aula Magna of the University, part of the Dicastery for Evangelization. Pope Francis addressed the conference via a video-message. Cardinal Parolin stressed the importance of communion with the Pope. Bishop Shen Bin stressed new horizons for evangelization rooted in China. Cardinal Tagle concluded the conference.
