The Pontifical Mission Societies (MISSIO), in collaboration with the United States Catholic Mission Association (USCMA) and acclaimed documentary filmmaker and producer Andrew Muscato, developed this streaming series. “We’re so pleased that this joint effort of our mission family at this difficult time to offer a place of encounter for those who are struggling right now,” explained Oblate Father Andrew Small, National Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies. “As Church and community, we will only be able to deal with the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic if we face them together.”
“We believe,” said Dr. Donald R. McCrabb, Executive Director of USCMA, “that these missionaries, through the witness of their experiences, have the ability to offer a healing balm over our American experience of the pandemic, in what promises to be a mutually enriching exchange.”
