The pandemic has been the direct, or the indirect, cause of many painful experiences such as the isolated death of a loved one, life threatening illness, weeks of isolation, loss of livelihood, changes in how kids go to school, and if the faithful to attend Mass. Hope is one of the great three theological virtues.

There appears to be a rise in depression and isolation during the pandemic. Where is hope, how do we cultivate it, and what do we do with it? The conversation in this third episode of MISSIO's LIVE video streaming series focuses on understanding what hope is, especially as it emerges as a theological virtue; what hope asks of us; how it applies to COVID-19, and how we, as Catholics, can cultivate hope today.
