Episode 1-Exploring Trauma

The pandemic has been the direct, or the indirect, cause of many traumatic experiences, such as the death of a loved one, life-threatening illness, weeks of isolation, loss of livelihood, changes in how children go to school, and how we attend Mass.

The conversation in this first episode of MISSIO's weekly live video streaming series focuses on understanding what trauma is, how it applies to COVID-19, and what a Catholic response would be.

With guests Dr. Susan M. Timoney (Associate Professor of Practice in Pastoral Studies, Catholic University of America) and Father Frank Hoare (Columban missionary priest living and working in Fiji).
