The Words on the Wall

During the podcast, Sr. Michael Marie told a moving story about how she was grappling with the possiblity of being selected Prioress for Kenya, and during a day of recollection she read the following words on the wal:

“Call to me, and I will answer you. I will tell you things great, beyond reach of your knowledge

Today, I put on God’s strength to steer me. God’s power to uphold me. God’s wisdom to guide me."

The first part is from Jeremiah 33:3, and the second part is from St. Patrick's Breastplate. 

Meeting Pope Francis

Sister Michael Marie happened to be president of the Association of Sisterhoods of Kenya when Pope Francis visited Kenya. She addressed him during his meeting with clergy,  religious, and seminarians. You will see his face first and then hear her voice in the snippet below:
