Sr. Madge Karecki is a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph-Third Order of St. Francis. She is from Chicago and served as the Director of the Archdiocesan Mission Office for five years. She received her DTh in Missiology from the University of South Africa (UNISA) where she spent 25 years teaching at St. John Vianney National Seminary and Unisa. She is known for her work in the field of Franciscan Studies, served on the USCMA Board and at the Pontifical Mission Societies. She was a consultant for the English-Speaking Association of Poor Clares of Africa for 20 years. She is currently President of the American Society of Missiology.
