USCMA encounters various types of mission leaders serving God’s mission. Some leaders are full-time working as a Director of Mission for a religious community or diocese. Others are full-time but they have other responsibilities – they are not focused on mission 100% of the time. Still others have full-time jobs – like Fr. David – who also has a part-time position for his community leading their Mission Cooperative Program.
But what about the volunteer mission leader? This is the person who may have full-time job and is volunteering some of his or her “off time” to lead – with others - a parish twinning program or a mission immersion experience.
